Choose five cards from the deck above.
This reading uses the famous Nicolas Conver Tarot design, associated with an important tradition of the Tarot de Marseille. The 22 Major Arcana are used both upright and reversed.
Five cards are drawn in a cross-shaped spread. They represent strengths, obstacles, the overall trend, guidance, and the answer.
The first cards help identify resources and difficulties. The trend and guidance then provide a direction for the reading, while the final card serves as the conclusion.
The cards of Nicolas Conver have become an important reference in the history of the Tarot de Marseille. The BnF also holds documents relating to the Conver design and its later editions.
